On May 8, Syngenta Group China, a subsidiary of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. (Sinochem Holdings), signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Northwest A&F University in China. Li Fanrong, Chairman of Sinochem Holdings, and Wu Pute, President of Northwest A&F University witnessed the signing.

According to the agreement, Syngenta Group China and Northwest A&F University will cooperate in seed innovation, achievement commercialization, talent training and rural revitalization by leveraging their respective advantages, establish a long-term, stable and effective industry-university-research-application cooperation worldwide, and further promote the integration of enterprises and technology, mutual benefit and common development  to give new impetus to rural revitalization and uplift agricultural modernization through seed innovation.
